Rochester Area Businesses That Mix Yoga and Food


Pilates Plus (3300 Monroe Ave., Pittsford, 586-3410) studio owner Jodi Brennan added the Little Green Cafe. Staff nutritionist/cafe manager Marie Lovenheim developed a mostly vegan menu.


Located at 17 South Main Street, Pittsford, NY 14534 (585-248-9070).  Breathe nutritionist and raw food chef Lauri Boone teaches classes at their cafe.


Yoga@Abundance is Iyengar style classes offered by long time shareholder and friend of Abundance, Carl Hoffman. Carl offers an active approach to yoga, designed for health, relaxation, and awareness. Twin brothers Chris and Doug Miller ran Organic Alley and Eco Cafe (585-264-9150), natural & organic food market & Yoga studio at 7 Schoen Place, Pittsford, New York from December of 2005 to December 2007. Chris is a certified Hatha Yoga teacher. Organic Alley has been closed while they regroup.
