Wednesday, August 18, 2010, my mother and I went to see the world' s largest glass museum, the Corning Museum of Glass in Corning, New York. The exhibits were marvelous. I also found the work of Sydney Cash from Marlboro, New York to be very exciting.
Following, we had dinner at the Moosewood Restaurant in Ithaca, New York.
Monday, September 6, 2010, we visited Weaver-View Farms Amish Country Store housed in a 14-room farmhouse on a 128-acre farm overlooking the west shore of Seneca Lake.
Afterwards, we had lunch at Fox Run Vineyards and Cafe.
Finally, we traveled to Bloomfield, New York (near Bristol) to visit my favorite potter, Jim Kozlowski's store known as the Wizard of Clay. I had purchased a couple pieces of his work some thirty years ago.
